Students
To register for this year’s Peel Region Science Fair, each project is required to pay a fee of $60.00. The fee is required to help pay for the operating expenses of the fair and to help us to send the top projects to the Canada Wide Science Fair.
As some of you may know, the Peel Region Science Fair did not take place from 2019-2022. This was due to Covid and lack funding. We are currently searching for private sources of funding. Until we are able to find adequate funding, we are required to charge a fee if the Fair is to continue.
The Peel Regional Science Fair has been taking place for the past 50 years. It has provided an opportunity for the students within the region of Peel to pursue their interest in science. It has also allowed students to demonstrate their talents at the Canada Wide Science Fair and has been a springboard for some to achieve international recognition. We hope that you understand the need for this year’s fee.
Judges
The Peel Region Science Fair (PRSF) is a unique opportunity to promote project based science to the youth of today. This science exhibition is one of nearly 100 fairs across Canada and 27 across Ontario that celebrates the work of young scientists and recognizes excellence in their research and innovation.
We are looking for judges to evaluate students and their projects. Students are competing for monetary prizes, medals and certificates of achievement. The best projects from our region will be traveling to compete at the Canada Wide Science fair.

Judging at a regional level is an opportunity to work with kids who are interested in the field of science. This is an excellent professional development experience as you will be able to evaluate student projects with your peers as well as people in industry. Lunch is also provided.
Student Volunteers
Students who would like to volunteers for helping out with the science fair this year, you may sign up on the button below. If you are going to be the participants of the fair, please do not sign up as volunteer. At the end of the fair you will receive a letter that recognizes the hours you spent. Deadline for registration is April 5th.
You can now sign up for the volunteer opportunity. You will be notified by April 9 with the schedule. Note that the volunteer space is limited, so it is we will select the based on who signed up first until we have enough people. Many thanks for your participation.
